EVER BEARING Strawberry
Fragaria spp.

Strawberry plants are usually planted about 6 inches apart in rows approx. two feet apart.

The berries of these plants are available at our local farmers' markets in season and sell quickly. They also can be frozen for later use in your favorite recipe. the size of the berries are a bit smaller than the huge store bought kind but the taste is so sweet and delicious!

A HARDY AND DELICIOUS FRUIT

Everbearing Strawberries are a perennial  plant, and produce about three times per year.
They grow best in raised beds, in a soil with plenty of organic matter but may be grown in any good garden soil provided it is well drained. A straw mulch works well. We enjoy eating the delicious strawberries when working out in the garden and sell them at the local farmers market! Cultivated variety-not wild.
