Grows best in Zones 4 to 8

A perennial shrubby herb type plant with many uses of the leaves and roots in forage, soaps, salves and is also used as a compost plant or border plant.

Likes a fairly acidic soil with good drainage and a good amount of sun. This is a fairly fast growing plant with many large leaves. In folk medicine it had more uses than almost any other plant we grow!

$4.00 available on order. (shipping-min. 3/max. 5 plants, shipped bare-rooted with instructions)

Usually Priority mail shipping and handling is $9.95 unless special ordered for more plants than above.

COMFREY PHOTOS FROM OUR FARM

The comfrey plants after the flowering stage above.

Usually they can be transplanted in late summer and fall as well because the roots are very hardy!

To the right: In the spring growing stage before the plants get too large can be the best time to transplant. You can see that these need thinning!
