Certified Organic
Coriander/Cilantro Seeds- grown right here at our farm!
Sorry, not available in 2005

Shown here are cilantro flowers before the production of seeds. The
bees love them! |
A popular herb plant-You get two
herbs for the price of one! An annual with a height of approx. 18 to 30
inches tall.
The seeds are used in cooking and baking, usually crushed and the
dried leaves are a popular herb in salsas or used fresh in cooking.
We find cilantro does not transplant very easily and suggest growing
it from seed.
To keep the plant from flowering keep cutting back the tops but
eventually because it is an annual it will need harvesting. We usually
pull up the plants and hang them to dry in late summer. Seeds that have
fallen in our garden soil sometimes sprout up on their own in the next
season! |
